Beloved Husband, Dad & Grandpa

Age 70, of North Oaks, MN and Rio Verde, AZ. Died July 3, 2012 at home surrounded by family. He was born in International Falls, MN on December 16, 1941. Survived by loving wife of 50 years, Bonnie; son, Shawn (Sue) Sullivan; daughters, Lisa (Bruce) Burnside and Kimberly (Michael) Schwartz; grandchildren, Allison, Mackenzie, Shannon Sullivan and Andrea, Kristine, Nicholas Schwartz; brothers, William (Sandy) and Michael Sullivan; sisters, Rosie O’Neil, June O’Hea, and Maureen (Dan) Kearney; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Don was an insurance agent for many years and owned a truck insurance agency, Truck Writers, Inc. in Blaine, MN. He was very active in all aspects of the transportation industry, a big supporter of the Minnesota Trucking Association and loved every minute serving his many client/friends on a daily basis. His passions were his children, 5 granddaughters and his grandson – his buddy. Don’s generous spirit and laugh will be missed more than we can ever say. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM (Noon), Monday, July 9 (visitation beginning at 10:00 AM) at ST. ODILIA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3495 N. Victoria in Shoreview. Private interment. Memorials preferred to the ALS Association.
